VHS Students Headed to Tiger's Roar Journalism Institute!

Four Vidalia High School Students have been accepted into Savannah State University’s “Tiger’s Roar Summer Journalism Institute.” Crystal Boyd, Cameron Nichols, Jasmine Wilson, and, DeShea Stokes will all participate in the hands-on program from June 18th thru June 25th.

VHS Names Valedictorian & Salutatorian

Vidalia High School is proud to announce the Valedictorian and Salutatorian for the 2021 Graduating Class of Vidalia High School. Walker McCord, the son of Mark and Laci McCord, is this year's Valedictorian, and Reagan Miller, the son of Kim Griffin and Jay Miller, is this year's Salutatorian.

Nutrition Named 2020 State Vision Program!

The Vidalia City School System’s School Nutrition Department was recently commended by the Georgia Department of Agriculture for “excelling in meeting the 2020 Vision for School Nutrition.”

First Ever Sweet Onion Honor Band Festival Takes Place at VHS!

Everyone knows of the effects of the COVID-19 Pandemic on High School and Middle School Athletics. Games and even seasons canceled or postponed. You also know that many schools, including Vidalia High School, either delayed or canceled in person Graduations in 2020. But, there may be a group of students who work very hard in their class and at their extracurricular activities that you may not have heard about. And those are the students who participate in the Fine Arts, including the Middle School and High School Band Programs.
