Opportunities abound at VHS, and CTAE is a critical part of preparing our students for what comes next. Whether their path leads to Employment, Enlistment, or Enrollment, the Three E’s, we are equipping students with the skills, knowledge, and experiences they need to succeed beyond graduation.

This month, we’re spotlighting our HEALTHCARE pathways! Students can explore medical-related careers with multiple pathway options, including Allied Health – Medical Assistant, Allied Health – Sports Medicine, and Patient Care Technician. Through our partnership with Southeast College and Career Academy (SECCA), students also have access to additional opportunities in Certified Nurse Assistant (CNA) and Emergency Medical Technician (EMT).

Great pathways start with great instructors! We are proud to have Shellie Cleghorn and Blake Brooks leading our Healthcare pathways and providing students with the knowledge, skills, and real-world experiences needed to pursue careers in the healthcare field. Students also have the opportunity to get involved in HOSA – Future Health Professionals, our CTSO that connects classroom learning with leadership, competition, service, and hands-on experiences in the healthcare industry.

At VHS, we don’t just prepare students for graduation, we prepare them for their future.
