HOSA Gives Back to Healthcare Workers
The Vidalia HOSA Club recently donated “Goodie Boxes” to the Healthcare workers at Memorial Health’s Meadows Hospital.
Vidalia’s High School Healthcare Science Teacher and HOSA Advisor Shellie Cleghorn said that HOSA members wanted to do something to show their appreciation of the local healthcare workers. “As future healthcare professionals, VHS HOSA students wanted to show a small token of appreciation to their potential future colleagues. When discussing with HOSA officers how we can give back to the medical community, this was what they decided that our club should do. It is important for students to understand the sacrifice these medical professionals make. By participating in this donation, HOSA students felt a connection to the medical community as they played a small part in displaying an act of kindness for their hard work.”
