Hobachee Dedicated to Sharpe!

Former Vidalia High School Principal John Sharpe, was honored Tuesday with the Dedication of the Vidalia High School Annual “The Hobachee.” Sharpe who spent nine years as Principal of his Alma Mater, stepped away earlier this year to take the reins of the Southeastern Early College and Career Academy (SECCA).

“I was humbled and honored by the year book dedication,” said Sharpe. “VHS has always been a special place to me and I have been blessed by the special relationships with staff students and parents. It has been a privilege to serve as Principal for the last nine years and I will cherish the special memories and friendships.”

VHS Instructional Coach and Yearbook Advisor Jamie Sharpton said the choice to dedicate the annual to Sharpe was an easy one, “this is just a validation and a show of respect for someone who has contributed their career to serving others!”
